2020 World Whisky of the Year, Jim Murray.
Chris’s Review
6.3
Smell:
Hit of alcohol as expected but wood and floral aroma sneaks out.
Taste:
Sweet walnut and dark fruit.
Finish: Hot 6
Tongue and throat get the tingle letting you know it’s a high proof, but the nuts and honey have a long linker that is surprisingly complex.
Notes:
An good drinker for those who like higher proof juice. The octane on this one does bring out more flavor that is washed out in their other offerings of small batch and single barrel.
